The FBI has been warning of an "epidemic" of mortgage fraud since September 2004. It also reports that lenders initiated 80% of these frauds. When the person that controls a seemingly legitimate business or government agency uses it as a "weapon" to defraud we categorize it as a "control fraud" ("The Organization as 'Weapon' in White Collar Crime." Wheeler & Rothman 1982; The Best Way to Rob a Bank is to Own One. Black 2005). Financial control frauds' "weapon of choice" is accounting. Control frauds cause greater financial losses than all other forms of property crime combined. Control fraud epidemics can arise when financial deregulation and desupervision and perverse compensation systems create a "criminogenic environment" (Big Money Crime. Calavita, Pontell & Tillman 1997.) The FBI correctly identified the epidemic of mortgage control fraud at such an early point that the financial crisis could have been averted had the Bush administration acted with even minimal competence. In 1995, a senior Clinton Administration official shared with me the Administration's targets for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac mortgage volumes in low and moderate-income communities. I looked at the official and said that the Administration was planning on issuing more mortgages than there were houses or residents. We Americans live in the fantasy that we have the best political system in the world & that we vote our leaders into power. However, it appears our presidents mostly share a common heritage, suggesting that they have been selected for us. Moreover, our 2 party system prevents other party's candidates ever having a chance at the presidency. This is not democratic, but this makes it easier for corporations to pick the winners. The last 4 presidents (Bush I, Clinton, Bush II & Obama) all have presided over similar agendas: dismantling our once famous American manufacturing sector, an ever increasing corrupt financial policy & a war economy. Clinton & Obama did more for the Republican party then any Republican president ever. In fact, there is only one party, the corporate party. Brand Obama was the ad of choice by the media & the voters elected him. None of his promises to end the war, hold Wall Street responsible for its theft of $trillions from this country nor the roll back of the Patriot Act have been kept. As with Obama, there is a charismatic mania for Ron Paul, & as with Obama, it is without factual basis. Like Obama, I haven't heard of a single piece of significant legislation he's passed. Like Obama, who is a member of the CFR, he belongs to a secret society, the Freemasons. Obama supporters argue that it is only Ms. Obama that is a CFR member. Paul supporters argue that Paul's father was a Freemason, even though his daughters and wife belong to Freemason associated societies. It makes no difference to them that Peter Thiel, a Bilderberg board member, was on Paul's campaign committee. It makes no difference that Paul's von Mises Austrian school of economics was Rockefeller funded. It makes no difference that his admitted mentor, Ayn Rand, was a former mistress of Phillip de Rothschild. Paul's gold standard position plays right into the Rothschild gold monopoly. It makes no difference that Paul plans to keep money control in private hands that his laissez faire free market thinking gives even more power to the corporations & that he is pro austerity for Americans, even though big Bankers caused this crisis & stole $trillions from we Americans? As for Paul's anti-war position, Rand Paul, his son, is an obvious neocon. Like Obama, Paul is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Like Obama, he would divide us. Anyone with a heart would not vote like this: HE VOTED NO ON PREVENTING FORECLOSURES, ON MONITORING TARP TO INSURE MORTGAGE RELIEF, VOTED NO ON JOB PACKAGE, VOTED NO ON SHAREHOLDERS VOTING ON CEO COMPENSATION, VOTED NO ON CRIMINALIZING CARTELS LIKE OPEC, VOTED NO ON LOBBYIST DISCLOSURE OF BUNDLED DONATIONS, VOTED AGAINST MINIMUM WAGE & EXTENDING UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS. Like the Obama manics, Paul's adherents won't bother to check the facts. They both are controlled via secretive organizations, Paul via the Freemasons and Obama via the Council on Foreign Relations. Supporters argue that there is no solid proof that Paul is a Freemason, but his father was and both his wife and daughters belong to Freemason associated organizations and there is strong evidence he was inducted during his college years. Moreover, Bilderberg board member, Peter Thiel, has been on Paul's campaign committee. Obama's wife is a member of the CFR.
Both are corporate candidates. The Obama administration was stacked with Goldman Sachs representatives who have blocked any financial regulations against the banksters. On the other hand, Paul's deregulation of the private sector in general would allow banksters even more leeway for looting than they already have. Moreover, deregulation of the financial sector, as with the elimination of Glass-Steagall Act, led directly to the present financial crisis. Paul voted no on both criminalizing cartels, like OPEC, and on monitoring TARP for mortgage relief?

Neither candidate has a heart for their own people. Obama proved this by not enacting one significant piece of legislation that would ease the present crisis like FDR did. Ron Paul would eliminate social security and voted against extending job benefits at a time Americans are finding it difficult to feed themselves. What's more his austerity program allows the banksters to keep their stolen money and makes Americans pay for it!
The mainstream media went crazy for Obama. Despite a slow start, notice Geraldo, Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, Bill Maher & even Rush Limbaugh (economic plan only) have recently supported Paul. Shouldn't you be a bit suspicious?
Everyone who votes for either of these candidates has proved themselves a sheeple for one simple reason: they didn't do their own research and relied upon the controlled mainstream and alternate media for their information.
